I am an experienced trekker and hiker. I enjoy taking photographs and travelling. I prefer wilderness and remote places. Travel often as much as I can. Prefer off-season as less people around. Winter is always a great time. Happy to share local knowledge about the beautiful island of Tasmania. I support humanitarian and Human Rights causes and spend much of my time working pro-bono for and in developing countries. View all posts by mark's travel notes
Wonderful photo of a beautiful part of the world. Have travelled a great deal but not been to this part of the world before. Enjoy.

Hi there. The Tsum is on the Manaslu Circuit. A few days in then turn left. Not well know and still remains a little visited remote part of Nepal. Tibetan culture and ends on the Tibetan border. Magnificent part of the world. Approx three week trek.

There are tea Houses. But much more basic that EBC or Annapurna but still OK. Very few foreigners. Also home to the Yeti! (AKA – Himalayan bears) Although of course I never saw one.
