I am an experienced trekker and hiker. I enjoy taking photographs and travelling. I prefer wilderness and remote places. Travel often as much as I can. Prefer off-season as less people around. Winter is always a great time. Happy to share local knowledge about the beautiful island of Tasmania. I support humanitarian and Human Rights causes and spend much of my time working pro-bono for and in developing countries. View all posts by mark's travel notes
Lovely pic. Have you done the Three Capes Walk Mark?

I have chosen not to. The reason being is that the government charges a few hundred dollars to walk what should be free public hiking trails. I feel this is very wrong. Wilderness should be for everyone. 😀

I agree that it’s wrong too and yet it looks so beautiful. Maybe you can give me some other recommendations on beautiful less walked trails in Tasmania.

I will be very happy to do so. I’m currently out hiking for next week or so. Will do so on my return.
