I am an experienced trekker and hiker. I enjoy taking photographs and travelling. I prefer wilderness and remote places. Travel often as much as I can. Prefer off-season as less people around. Winter is always a great time. Happy to share local knowledge about the beautiful island of Tasmania. I support humanitarian and Human Rights causes and spend much of my time working pro-bono for and in developing countries. View all posts by mark's travel notes
Hi Mark, If that is the particular I think it is the last time we climbed it it was a white out with cloud. Lovely shot. The people are so beautiful. Louise

Wonderful. Brilliant. I want to go back for at least 4 weeks just to Sicily.

Are you back from the trek? What are you up to? I checked your blog this morning in case I had missed something. And was hoping all was well.

Over here for a few more weeks. I made it to EBC easily. But developed a bacterial chest infection and had to spend a few days in hospital in Kathmandu. Now we’ll. Off to Pokhara on Tuesday.

Great to hear. Isn’t Sicily great. Love it there. Glad you enjoyed. I particularly enjoyed Siracusa. You could easily spend a month there next time you go.

My husband’s little town is about a twenty minute bus trip from Siracusa.

I took 14 days round trip. Slowly slowly as they advise. Not many trekkers around on way up but lots on my way down.

Yes. Getting much better. The Nepalese people are so friendly and happy. And most often they have so little.
