I am an experienced trekker and hiker. I enjoy taking photographs and travelling. I prefer wilderness and remote places. Travel often as much as I can. Prefer off-season as less people around. Winter is always a great time. Happy to share local knowledge about the beautiful island of Tasmania. I support humanitarian and Human Rights causes and spend much of my time working pro-bono for and in developing countries. View all posts by mark's travel notes

I am sure you are right Mark it’s just the altitude factor. I think you are taking off to Nepal the same time we are taking off for three weeks in Sicily, I’ll dream of cool Nepal while we are sweltering in un- air conditioned Italy! I’m counting done with you, And yes don’t injure yourself. Don’t slip on any of that snow!
