I am an experienced trekker and hiker. I enjoy taking photographs and travelling. I prefer wilderness and remote places. Travel often as much as I can. Prefer off-season as less people around. Winter is always a great time. Happy to share local knowledge about the beautiful island of Tasmania. I support humanitarian and Human Rights causes and spend much of my time working pro-bono for and in developing countries. View all posts by mark's travel notes
I have been watching it now since the clouds parted to let it shine. I always like a full moon.

Hi Mark. Your photography is amazing. May I ask what sort of camera you use? I am looking at upgrading and I need all the help I can get. Thanks Mel

I use a Nikon 200 Lense and a Sigma 1.4 wide angle which is great in low light.

Thanks. It great to hear. I enjoy both words and photographs. But I can’t find words adequate to describe the beautiful wilderness, here in Tassie.
